Reardon Baker, PE
Reardon joined Peterson Guadagnolo Consulting Engineers PC in June of 2018 after graduating from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Energy Systems. Reardon interned for Syracuse University’s Office of Campus Planning, Design, and Construction for two years during his time as a student completing various projects spanning calculations for building cooling loads to in-depth inventory and maintenance assessment of the University’s many stairwell pressurizations, smoke evacuation, and laboratory fume exhaust systems.
During his time at Peterson Guadagnolo Consulting Engineers PC, Reardon has worked on a large-scale commercial building renovation involving complete design of mechanical systems including custom centralized HVAC systems, building steam and condensate distribution systems, hydronic heating and cooling systems, commercial kitchen ventilation systems and exterior snowmelting systems. He has also gained valuable experience in construction administration and commissioning of building MEP systems. More recently, Reardon has designed and modernized multiple kitchen ventilation systems for a large stadium that had previously relied solely on building pressure to exhaust air from the spaces. In addition, he has been involved on other projects including boiler system design and controls integration for multiple small-scale commercial buildings. In 2021, Reardon completed a project that relocated an environmental growth chamber and constructed a new fish breeding laboratory, serving as both the lead designer and construction administrator for this project. Reardon has been also associated with projects including controls automation for a large student residence hall mechanical upgrade to mechanical design for a central steam heating plant deaerator tank replacement and plumbing design for multiple stadium concession stands. Reardon obtained his Professional Engineering license in 2023.
