Matthew Fuller, PE
Matthew Fuller recently returned to the firm as a Professional Engineer, having previously worked for Peterson Guadagnolo Consulting Engineers PC from 2004 to 2014. Matthew is a 2004 graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.
Matt was a Senior Project Engineer at Syracuse University from 2014 to 2023 where he oversaw the planning, operation, and maintenance of the campus electrical distribution system for approximately 250 buildings and improvements to life safety systems across campus. He was also responsible for design of projects throughout campus and worked with outside consultants on capital projects to maintain campus standards.
Matt has designed fire alarm systems for dozens of commercial and residential buildings and most recently designed a life safety event reporting system consisting of 125 buildings with a proprietary supervising station utilizing RF mesh communications with network redundancy.
In a multiple phase project, Mr. Fuller designed and oversaw construction of repairs and replacements to a research data center electrical distribution system which was in the process of failing. A system of microturbines and lithium bromine absorption chiller were replaced with dual 750kW generators and UPS systems.
In 2007, Matt managed the electrical drawing production and oversaw construction of 35kV electrical substation and 2,500 linear feet of ductbank. The project included the consolidation of three older substations and associated feeders down to a single higher voltage unit with ductbanks tying into the existing underground distribution.
Matthew is currently a member of the IEEE
